COUNT, COUNTIF and COUNTIFS Functions in Excel

Benefit of Count, CountIf and Countifs functions is to count number of occurrence in particular row or column in excel. These functions are most used in excel.

COUNT:

Syntax:

=COUNT(value1, [value2], ...)

To count the numbers in particular column or row, use count function as shown in the below picture.
